Honestly, I couldn't even get enough of Kai! He is such a good natured newborn and has such a sweet, loving family. He came in for his newborn session and slept right off the bat for some sibling images and he even opened his eyes for a couple adorable photographs. His nursery is jungle themed and mom brought in a giant stuffed giraffe and elephant, Kai rocked the lion bonnet and I merged a couple of images together in post processing and crafted a final composite image. While I was editing his images I just wanted to scoop him back up so I'm really hoping mom comes back for a milestone session in the future!
I first met this family last fall for family photos, I went to their home town of Pickering for a few images and then we moved over to Greenwood where we found the most gorgeous birch trees which ended up being perfect for their Christmas cards! I was SO happy to hear from mom when she was looking to book for her newborn's portraits, I couldn't wait to see their family again! Ava is absolutely amazing with her little sister and you can tell they will become the best of friends. We also incorporated my birch bed in to her session to match from their previous family session.
I hope to see them again! <3 Miss Ellie came in to my studio at 5 days new for her newborn session and she was such a delite! Her parents are completely in love with her and I'm sure she will have her daddy wrapped around her finger. Mom brought in a beautiful dream catcher prop to use during her session (which was completed as a composite image) and at the end we snuggled her in to my vintage tea crate.
It was so great meeting Ellie and her brand new family of 3! |
